LHTS is seeking an AV Technician to assist on a 3 month project in the Buffalo region. 

Required Skills Include: 

  • Gathering client requirements for conferencing needs
    • Client Strategy/Goals (including financial e.g. CapEx vs Opex vs. Hybrid)
    • Current Solution/s in place
    • in-room experience vs mobile (room size, number of users, electrical and wireless, acoustics)
    • primary conferencing solution vs. Video in room only
    • Readiness for installation (wireless, POE, other power, constraints,)
    • Requirements to integrate with other communication, collaboration, content sharing, conferencing systems/ tools
  •  Experience with Conferencing Services, Systems e.g. Cisco WebEx, Zoom, Skype for Business/Lync, Highfive, Bluejeans, Lifesize, Polycom
  • Determining Bandwidth and wireless requirements
  • Wireless Technology, Assessment and implementation
  • Digital Signage
  • Compatibility/reuse of existing conferencing system components – e.g. cameras, audio systems, wireless devices, displays
  • Security/Compliance Requirements
  • Facilities/Union requirements
  • Wiring/building codes
  • Integration with other communication, collaboration, content sharing, conferencing systems/ tools eg. MS Outlook, Google Calendar, Teams, Slaker,
  • Wiring, Equipment, and Software installation experience
  • Conferencing Systems trouble shooting and end use support
  • Driver’s License
  • Vehicle, e.g. van to transport equipment. E.g. (2) 50” conference room displays
