Job Description

Lighthouse Technology Services is seeking a Kronos Analyst for a contract role in Jackson, MS.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for the development, configuration, and support for HR and Kronos applications.
  • This position will interface with multiple teams including business end users, internal/external application support administrators, application vendors, Payroll, HR, IT etc. to maintain and support the applications and interfaces.
  • This position will also act as the primary contact for the business, responding to and resolving issues, handling system enhancements and upgrades, reporting requirements, new system builds due to new business requirements, cross functional projects, and day to day ongoing support to the Operations, Payroll and HR teams.
  • Responsible for the creation or modification of interfaces, implementation, and configuration of Kronos modules, extensive knowledge of developing in WIM
  • Develop complex SQL queries in a multi SQL environment
  • Technical point-of-contact for the HR/Payroll Team, and is the functional subject matter expert for HR and payroll systems while ensuring data integrity
  • Analyzes current processes, tools, system or database and makes recommendations for development, improvement or simplification
  • Provide support to business end user and the HR/Payroll team, research and resolve HR and payroll system issues, and unexpected results or process flaws
  • Troubleshoots, identifies and tracks software issues to ensure resolution and keep systems operational
  • Develops recommendations and coordinates issue resolution with Information Technology (IT) and outside service providers based on business unit priorities
  • Works with IT partners to coordinate system enhancements
  • Lead and provide oversight to labor-management processes ensuring incidents, service requests, change requests, and enhancements are managed based on SLAs
  • Documents and communicates problem resolution while identifying and diagnosing system and application errors
  • Researches, design and schedules standardized reports or create ad-hoc reports or data queries to support the business unit
  • Perform system analysis and changes to architecture in order to identify solutions to business and technical problems
  • Responsible for multiple projects with cross functional teams and business processes
  • Collaborates with business group management to develop appropriate training materials to support the needs of the functional area
  • Develop job aids and functional updates to user community
  • Professional IT experience as with modules HR, Payroll, Time and Attendance, Advanced Scheduler, Labor Forecasting and Scheduling
  • Experience implementing and configuring various Time and Attendance Installations utilizing Kronos applications
  • Collaborate with business units and developers to develop interfaces to transfer business data from legacy systems to Kronos

Required Skills Include:

  • Expertise as a Kronos Technical Developer
  • Must have experience writing SQL as well as experience with interfaces.
  • Must have experience with Workforce Integration Manager (WIM).
  • Must have basic table knowledge and have experience joining tables with SQL.
  • Most of the work expected will be technical. However, this position will require experience and knowledge on how the application works and be able to configure.
  • MUST have experience working in the retail industry with Kronos.
  • Experience utilizing relational databases with Microsoft SQL and fulfills tasks associated with data collection, DB creation, and DB review
  • Deep expertise with Kronos WFC setup including Timekeeper, Accruals, Device Manager, Attestation, and Security/Access Profiles
  • Ability to manage complex Leave and Benefit Accruals for Kronos using configurations provided by unit bargain agreement and rules
