LHTS is seeking a Junior Project Manager/Project Administrator role... This role will manage several projects as well as provide ongoing support to administrative tasks for the PMO, including (but not limited to) maintaining the PMO SharePoint, managing WorkFront as the Project Portfolio tool, updating PMO documents and templates, and assisting with PMO reports. The person must be able to work effectively with many different types of people and have been part of an organizational function review within the financial/investment industry successfully.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Support the deployment of standards and methodologies for the Project management office.

Prepare well-structured materials for review, approval and prioritization at the senior management level within the organization.

Analyze a wide-variety of data. Identify and assist others in recognizing and monitoring performance measures consistent with the organizational standards by tracking program actuals against the program work plans and approved budget.

Track action items, issues, risks and key decisions across the projects they manage.

Escalate issues accordingly and help drive resolution of implementation or post- implementation issues and risks.

Monitor project task dependencies as they relate to the project and work stream activities.

Lead projects using project methodology. Conduct and facilitate meetings, maintain agendas and meeting minutes and ensure projects stay on schedule and budget. Utilize project management software to track and monitor projects.

Participate and facilitate agency wide meetings to elicit information necessary to help groups engage, secure commitment, gain consensus, and generate decisions. Foster team learning and collaboration by encouraging and modeling open expression of diverse ideas and opinions.

 

 

 

 

 

3-5 years of project management experience

Minimum of three years’ experience in finance, investment, accounting, economics or related industry (five years’ preferred)

Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Expertise with SharePoint and Workfront

Strong analytic and problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
