Job Description

Lighthouse Technology Services is seeking a Sys Admin for a direct hire role in Buffalo, NY. 

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Solve technical problems.
  • Provide decisions and ideas to maintain a steady state of private & public cloud infrastructures, virtual systems management and up time.
  • Resolve incidents using troubleshooting techniques, tools and ITIL best practices.
  • Provide technical support to staff onsite and at remote locations.
  • Installation and support of Servers, PCs, laptops, printers and all related company software.

Requirements Include:

  • 2-5 years of professional experience managing virtual and physical server environment running Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • On-call rotation is required, as 7x24 support is required.
  • Systems Administrator: 2 years (Required) 
  • Network Administration: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Experience with Office 365, Hyper-V, Storage administration, Network administration, Citrix, RDS, SolarWinds monitoring and patch management
  • An ability to solve complex problems in an organized and timely fashion. 
  • Organizational skills and be detail oriented. 
  • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills. 
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with a broad range of individuals at all levels. 
  • Self-starter, productive working independently or collaboratively – this is a fast-pace environment with performance expectations and deadlines.
