Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Business Systems Analyst position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This is a hybrid role in Buffalo, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead testing initiatives including SIT, UAT, and End-to-End testing for a major loan accounting system implementation (AFS Vision).
• Write detailed business requirements and test scripts/test cases.
• Coordinate testing efforts across multiple teams and business units.
• Monitor and manage testing activities, track/report defects, and ensure timely resolution.
• Plan and manage dress rehearsals and live conversion events including resource coordination and issue escalation.
• Facilitate complex projects from proposal through post-implementation.
• Prepare functional specifications, test plans, and conduct data analysis.
• Lead functional requirements gathering with business users and translate into system design.
• Participate in design and integration meetings, and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Coordinate cross-functional project work, and maintain thorough project documentation.
• Serve as subject matter expert on assigned systems within 18 months.
• Ensure adherence to corporate technology standards, regulatory requirements, and project timelines.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and support audit or compliance needs.

What You'll Need to Have:

• 6+ years of combined higher education and/or operational/business analytics experience.
• Experience with SIT and UAT testing coordination, preferably in loan servicing systems.
• Ability to write business requirements and test scripts/test cases.
• Experience in coordinating large-scale enterprise projects.
• Experience with AFS Vision or similar loan accounting systems preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
• Advanced knowledge of integrated applications and system conversions.
• Familiarity with project management, application development, and conversion methodology.

Pay Range: $42-$52+/hr
