Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Delivery Lead – Data & AI position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Toronto, ON. This role will be a T4 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Data and AI Delivery Lead to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business and technology - a proactive problem-solver who can guide high-velocity projects to successful delivery. As the Delivery Lead, you will act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring seamless coordination, clarity in execution, and impactful delivery of AI and data solutions. You don’t need to write code, but a strong understanding of modern technology and deployment practices is essential to communicate effectively and drive results. Your work will directly influence the success of AI-powered initiatives that solve complex, real-world problems at scale.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Drive end-to-end delivery of data and AI projects, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical execution
- Act as a bridge between cross-functional technical teams and business stakeholders
- Translate complex business challenges into clear, actionable requirements
- Apply strong business analysis skills to frame problems and guide solutioning
- Manage multiple fast-paced projects and adapt to shifting priorities
- Take full ownership and accountability for delivery timelines and outcomes
- Foster collaboration across data and analytics engineers, AI teams, and business partners
- Navigate ambiguity, learn on the fly, and respond to issues with a solution-oriented mindset
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders and inspire confidence in delivery
What You'll Need to Have:
- 5-10 years of experience as a Delivery Lead, with a focus on driving complex projects from initiation to completion
- Proven ability to quarterback delivery efforts: ask the right questions, proactively solve problems, and lead initiatives across functions
- Strong understanding of technology project lifecycles, from design to deployment
- Experience working with cross-functional technical teams, including data engineers, infrastructure teams, and developers
- Hands-on experience managing data engineering projects, including tools like Snowflake and Power BI (basic level)
- Familiarity with infrastructure-related project work
- Working knowledge of Smartsheets for project tracking
- Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across a variety of personality types and stakeholder levels
- Strong business analysis and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with Agile and PMP methodologies and tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, STEM, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is an asset
Pay Range: $70-$75/hr CAD
