Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Business Analyst (PM) with expertise in Accounting and Finance position! This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be hybrid in Charlotte, NC.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and very driven Business Analyst with a focus in Accounting and Finance to join our S/4HANA Transformation Program, within the Customer to Cash (C2C) track. This position will work directly with the Product Management team. The Business Analyst will act as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and the project delivery team to define, document, and support the delivery of key features in alignment with the company's business goals.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document current and future state business processes in the Customer to Cash (C2C) domain (e.g., customer master, point of sale information, order management, billing, receivables, subsidies).
• Support the Product Manager and Product Management team in creating and refining Epics, Features, and Stories aligned with the SAFe Agile Framework.
• Translate business needs, including accounting and financial requirements, into clear, concise, and actionable Features and User Stories with acceptance criteria.
• Validate system outputs (e.g., journal postings, reconciliations) against accounting expectations.
• Suggest real-world accounting test scenarios to support product teams’ testing efforts.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and discovery sessions, documenting outcomes.
• Define the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and product increments for the C2C track.
• Align solutions with strategic goals and SAP S/4HANA capabilities.
• Work closely with Functional and Technical leads to ensure feasibility and effectiveness of solutions.
• Support the product development lifecycle including testing, validation, and change management.
• Act as liaison between the Product Management layer and product teams to ensure clear execution of features and requirements.

What You'll Need to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/PM or Financial Analyst supporting large-scale ERP implementations, ideally with SAP S/4HANA or ECC.
• Demonstrated expertise in creating and maintaining business documentation, including BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and process flows.
• Strong accounting acumen with practical experience applying principles like accruals, journal entries, and financial reporting in ERP environments.
• Familiarity with interdependencies across SAP financial and operational modules (e.g., FI, SD, AR).
• Demonstrated experience in the Customer to Cash process area, including order management, billing, and accounts receivable in SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
• Strong familiarity with the SAFe Agile Framework and experience working within Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
• Experience writing user stories and features in Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills to engage business and IT stakeholders.
• Prior software development experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in food service, hospitality or contract services industries.
• SAFe certifications (e.g., SAFe Agilist, SAFe PO/PM).
• Experience in large-scale S/4HANA transformation programs.

Pay Range: $42-$52/hr
