Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Salesforce Engineer position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity based in Buffalo, NY, and is open to local and remote candidates. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide designs, specify information systems solutions, and deliver technical direction in application development.
  • Act as a principal application designer for modifications and enhancements using analytical and technical skills.
  • Lead and contribute to complex systems analysis, design, and development.
  • Direct and mentor less experienced developers and coordinate tasks across projects.
  • Prepare/manage technical components of project plans and oversee testing/debugging.
  • Evaluate interrelationships among programs and platforms, providing analytical consulting for new technologies.
  • Maintain and enhance system documentation, specifications, and diagrams.
  • Ensure efficient operation and effectiveness of supported applications.
  • Recommend new technology, policies, and processes to improve systems.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and technology staff for end-to-end delivery.
  • Contribute to due diligence, cost/benefit analysis, and business study activities.


What You'll Need to Have:

  • Hands-on experience developing with Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Proficiency in Apex programming and building Flows
  • Strong understanding of REST API integration
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience using Git/GitLab for version control and collaboration
  • Associate’s degree and 5+ years systems analysis/application development experience OR 7+ years equivalent work/education with 5+ years application development.
  • Ability to coordinate between applications and business units, and deliver solutions that meet milestones.
  • Experience with testing processes, user acceptance testing, and debugging.
  • Ability to work independently and on complex projects, as well as mentor others.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with nCino or other banking workflow tools
  • Background in the banking or financial services industry
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Administrator)


Pay Range: $55-$70+/hr
