Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their .NET Developer position! This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be hybrid in Toronto, Ontario. This role will be an employee of Lighthouse Technology Services during the contract period.
Position Overview
The Developer will work on NPC applications and be responsible for configuration, coding, and database changes. This role requires strong backend development expertise with a balance of approximately 70% application development and 30% database work.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Perform configuration changes and enhancements to existing NPC applications
- Develop and maintain application code using C# and ASP.NET Web Forms
- Design, modify, and optimize SQL Server stored procedures
- Perform database updates and data-related troubleshooting
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Participate in code reviews and version control using Git-based repositories
What You’ll Need to Have:
- 4+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience with C# (7.0+)
- Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms Framework 4.7
- Strong SQL skills with SQL Server 2019+, including stored procedures
- Experience using GitHub or other version control systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have:
- 3+ years of experience with AWS
- Experience building or consuming Web APIs
- Experience with XML
- Front-end experience with React.js and JavaScript
- Integration experience
- Relevant technical certifications
Pay Range:Â $52-$57+/hr CAD
