*Remote Contract Opportunity*
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their .NET Software Engineer position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and can be remote in the United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Work as a member of an agile team to define, develop, test, analyze, document, and maintain backend cloud (Microsoft Azure) solutions.
- Write unit tests to ensure quality software that meets defined requirements.
- Interpret business requirements and interact with business users to clarify and define solutions.
- Collaborate with embedded Software Quality Engineers to test applications and resolve defects.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation aligned with department standards.
What You'll Need to Have:
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Proficiency in source control and versioning of code.
- Strong unit testing and CI/CD pipeline experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in C# and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with .NET Core and Azure cloud technologies.
- Hands-on with Azure Storage Accounts, ADLS Gen 2, Azure Queues, and Function Apps with Queue Triggers.
- Familiarity with Azure Event Grid and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Azure BICEP or Terraform.
- Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Pay Range: $65-$80+/hr
