Job Description


Lighthouse Technology Services is seeking an Agile Business Analyst for a 1-3 year+ contract role.  This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:
  • Experience of crafting end to end customer journeys & then building stories attached to that – effectively somebody who can see things holistically but then drill down to detail as well
  • Work on backlog grooming, collaborate with the RTE, Product Manager, Product Owners & Business to ensure the Backlog is populated with the granular stories needed for development and adequately prioritized.
  • Ensure steady flow of stories that meet business objectives
  • Responsible for the overall story creation and data requirements
  • Work with Business Partners, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure Business Processes and requirements are accurately captured
  • Experience Supporting QA validation and user story acceptance
  • Documentation
  • Proficiency in documenting Business processes
  • Define system and data requirements
  • Identifying dependencies & constraints – work, where needed, to help resolve
  • Ceremonies / Communications
  • BAs will lead the backlog grooming and story creation meetings with Business Partners, Developers, POs and other Stakeholders
  • Work closely with technical teams on a daily basis to drive execution and implementation
  • Experience managing the needs of multiple stakeholders at different levels but with the comfort and experience to diplomatically & constructively challenge

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Infrastructure or similar discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a BA in BANKING.
  • Prior experience working on APIs and internal, staff-facing UI is preferred
  • Client Onboarding, Know-your-customer checks, Wealth, Private Banking, Investment Banking, and/or Customer knowledge is HUGE PLUS
  • Certified SAFe 5.0 Agilist is Preferred, but not mandatory
  • Past experience from organizations with SAFe and Agile ways of working and working knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Kanban Boards, Confluence and other collaborative workspaces
  • Experience of continuous integration/continuous development
