*Hybrid Contract Opportunity*
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Project Manager position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.Â
What You'll Be Doing:
- Manage multiple small-sized projects under the direction of a more senior Project Manager.
- Develop and maintain project scope, objectives, and detailed plans including cost, schedule, and resource allocation.
- Facilitate requirement gathering and planning sessions using techniques such as brainstorming and focus groups.
- Communicate and align project plans and expectations with stakeholders and project teams.
- Execute and monitor project tasks, manage forecasts and budgets, and ensure project goals are met.
- Track and mitigate risks, implement workarounds, and handle change controls.
- Lead and mentor teams to promote efficiency and team cohesion.
- Support larger project initiatives under higher-level guidance.
What You'll Need to Have:
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Familiarity with JIRA project management software.
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years’ experience in general management, project analysis, or project management (including 1 year specifically in project management), OR:
- 4 years of combined education/work experience including 1 year in project management.
Pay Range:Â $38-$44+/hr
