*Hybrid Contract Opportunity*
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their BI Consultant position! This is an 6+ month contract opportunity for hybrid work environment of 3 days per week in their Edmonton or Calgary office. This role will be a T4 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop strong relationships with IT and third-party vendors.
- Work with IT to define our BI and analytics roadmap.
- Work with key stakeholders to develop predictive models towards improving business performance.
- Identify and document data-related business requirements.
- Document Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and data sources.
- Automate KPI reporting.
- Analyze customer and operational data to identify process and performance improvement opportunities.
What You'll Need To Have:
- 3 years of BI experience.
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- SQL experience.
- Preference for Experience in electricity and/or natural gas.
- Bachelor’s Degree in technology (Computing Science or MIS) or business (Bachelor of Commerce).
- Business requirements capture experience.
- Experience working with diverse internal stakeholders.
- Experience working with external partners, ideally including working with a Business Process Outsourcing vendor.
- ETL tool experience.
- Predictive modelling experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Teams, PowerPoint and Excel in particular).
Pay Range: $73-$83/hr CAD
