*Charlotte, NC Contract-to-Hire Opportunity*
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their ERP Business Analyst – SAP S/4HANA position! This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be hybrid in Charlotte, NC (onsite 3 days/week).
Position Overview:
The Business Analyst will support a multi-year ERP system upgrade across the organization. This role is responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, supporting solution design, and ensuring that ERP enhancements align with enterprise objectives. The position will work cross-functionally within business sectors and product teams to drive business process transformation.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Partner with stakeholders, developers, and third-party vendors to gather and document current- and future-state requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Owners to define and refine features and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Quickly learn complex business domains and facilitate decision-making across diverse teams.
- Support backlog refinement by breaking down features into user stories and tasks.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and process gaps proactively.
- Write clear, testable User Stories and Tasks with acceptance criteria for development and validation.
- Model future-state processes in alignment with SAP S/4HANA capabilities and industry best practices.
- Ensure solutions meet business goals and support the overall ERP transformation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Track and report on deliverables, ensuring quality and timely completion.
- Manage post-implementation feedback and help drive system enhancements.
- Create and execute test cases and collaborate with QA for end-to-end testing.
- Validate system outputs against business requirements and quality standards.
What You'll Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
- 4+ years of Business Analysis experience, preferably in ERP or software development environments.
- Hands-on experience with SAP modules like FI, SD, MM, IM, EWM, AM, AP, AR, CO, or PCA; S/4HANA experience strongly preferred.
- At least 1 year of Agile project experience (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong ownership and accountability in delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Miro and Azure DevOps is a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (<5%) to support cross-sector initiatives.
Pay Range: $42-$52/hr
