*Hybrid Contract Opportunity*
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior Business Systems Analyst (Commercial Lending) position! This is a 6+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. Â
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead complex projects from proposal through post-implementation, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are met.
- Act as a functional lead and subject matter expert (SME) for assigned applications within 18 months.
- Facilitate discussions with business lines to gather user requirements, translating them into clear, well-documented functional specifications and test cases.
- Create and execute test plans and serve as Test Coordinator for large initiatives involving multiple applications.
- Provide mentorship to junior staff on application usage, analysis methods, and project execution.
- Participate in system design sessions and document user-facing functionality and design requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal technology teams to implement new features or system changes.
- Conduct data mapping for system integrations, conversions, and regulatory-driven projects.
- Lead or participate in meetings, capturing minutes and managing communication between business and technology stakeholders.
- Ensure testing, documentation, and change management practices align with regulatory standards and corporate technology policies.
- Monitor and manage scope, changes, and deliverables to ensure project alignment and client satisfaction.
- Oversee post-implementation feedback, issue resolution, and overall performance validation.
What You'll Need to Have:
- Minimum of 6 years of combined higher education and/or operational/business analytics experience.
- Strong experience as a Business and Systems Analyst, ideally within Commercial Lending or Banking environments.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, business process improvement, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with Commercial Loan Systems, system enhancements, UAT, and vendor coordination.
- Technical exposure to Mainframe and/or Distributed systems, SQL, and report building tools like Power BI.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across business and technical teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Pay Range: $40-$57/hr
