LHTS is seeking an experienced Data Governance Manager to serve as the subject matter expert across the areas of change management, organization design and development, and data governance. This role is for a trailblazer with the right presence to interact with senior-level leaders and their teams and forming effective partnerships with multiple functions from top to bottom.

Responsibilities Include: 
•Defining and implementing standards for data quality and procedures for the data governance program
•Defining and socializing an engagement / operating model for accountability of data governance
•Incorporating regulatory requirements into the data governance program
•Use experiences in navigating a complex data environment while being proficient at finding, combining, and cleansing / transforming data from different sources, and understand data without the benefit of formal structure and metadata. 
•Use practical working knowledge of data management and governance disciplines including: data profiling, data quality, hands-on management of business definitions / glossary and technical metadata, and design and execution of processes required to ensure data remains accurate, consistent, secure, and aligned with strategic objectives 
•Partner with technology to implement tools and analytics that will further provide insight to data quality
•Lead, develop and collaborate with teams across company(ies) to ensure data governance policies and practices are executed throughout the enterprise
•Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization to drive progress and keep leadership and all business stakeholders informed of program updates and status
•Gathering business requirements, facilitating workshops, creating blue prints/road-maps, etc


Required Skills Include:  
•Bachelors Degree required, preferably in Computer Science or Business
•8-10 years of experience in data management / business systems controls 
•Experience with a Master Data Management Suite 
•Experience with a Data Governance or Data Quality toolset
•Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection 
•Knowledge of trends and issues for data 
•Knowledge of leading data quality and data protection management practices 
•Understanding of data quality reporting methodologies and capabilities 
•Desire to learn and stay current on data governance and data management industry trends 
•Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills 
•Possesses strong organizational and prioritization skills 
•Can articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience 
•Superior problem-solving abilities; applies good judgement 
•Can work effectively with all levels of management and staff 
•Ability to negotiate and influence 
•Flexible; embraces change, possesses a positive attitude and have ability to prioritize issues
