Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior Business Analytics & Reporting Analyst position! This is a 10+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop and produce mid- to high-complexity departmental reports and spreadsheets, including project/product strategy analysis, historical reporting, workflow analysis, and financial analysis.
- Identify trends and emerging issues, develop project plans, organize events, synthesize stakeholder input, and communicate findings via white papers, reports, etc.
- Perform complex analysis and judgment across multiple disciplines to support business decisions.
- Analyze large datasets and deliver actionable insights to management.
- Drive continuous process improvement and automation, including documentation and custom tools.
- Contribute to planning and execution of new projects to meet business objectives.
- Take a lead role in audit support activities including compliance testing and user recertifications.
- Manage implementation of new systems, products, or regulatory changes.
- Act as a liaison with vendors and tech teams for system support and issue resolution.
- Adhere to compliance and operational risk policies and internal control standards.
What You'll Need to Have:
- 3+ years of experience in a reporting or data analytics role.
- Experience with Alteryx for building automated workflows, data blending, and streamlining ETL processes across large datasets.
- Advanced SQL skills, including writing complex queries, joins, and stored procedures to support in-depth data analysis and validation.
- Proficiency in Power BI, with the ability to develop interactive dashboards, data models, and visualizations tailored to stakeholder needs.
- Strong data storytelling and visualization abilities, translating analytical findings into actionable business insights for non-technical audiences.
- Working knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metadata management practices to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
Pay Range:Â $33-$44+/hr
