*Remote Contract Opportunity*
Join our client's Enterprise Data Stewardship team and play a critical role in ensuring the quality, integrity, and trustworthiness of enterprise data. In this role, you will be responsible for governing enterprise master data assets, proactively monitoring data quality, and coordinating timely remediation. As a data steward, you are key driver of data trust, enabling a data-driven culture through strong governance, partnership, and continuous improvement.
This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and can be remote in the United States (working EST hours). This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services during the contract period.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Monitor enterprise master data quality and support timely remediation.
- Collaborate across teams to enforce data governance standards and drive continuous improvement.
- Build application knowledge around master data systems and flows.
- Investigate and troubleshoot master data issues, supporting root cause analysis and resolution.
- Document business rules, definitions, and validation logic to support governance objectives.
What You’ll Need to Have:
- 3-5 years of experience in data stewardship, including:
- 2+ years focused on Product, Vendor, or Client data domains.
- Experience in MDM environments or other enterprise data systems.
- Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to solve complex data problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize multiple competing requests.
- Experience using AI research tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot.
- Familiarity with geo-centric tools like Google or Bing Maps.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with incident reporting tools (e.g., Service Now, BMC Helix, JIRA, Azure DevOps).
- SQL query writing experience.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Exposure to Master Data Platforms (e.g., STEP by Stibo, Informatica MDM).
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Familiarity with SAP S4 Hana.
Pay Range: $35-$38/hr
