Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Windows Systems Engineer position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Oversee the daily operations of SCCM and Intune, including software deployments, patching, compliance policies, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain Windows desktop standards, configurations, and policies to ensure secure and optimized endpoint management.
- Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate tasks, streamline operations, and enhance endpoint security.
- Implement security policies, authentication standards, and conditional access rules for device compliance.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network configurations to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Support teams to ensure smooth operations and prompt issue resolution.
- Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and internal knowledge base articles.
- Lead and contribute to mid- to large-scale IT projects focused on endpoint management and security enhancements.
What You'll Need to Have:
- Deep understanding of Windows desktop operating systems and deployment strategies.
- Strong hands-on experience with SCCM and Intune in enterprise environments.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and endpoint security.
- Solid knowledge of endpoint security concepts, authentication policies, and device compliance standards.
- Experience with hardware/software management and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with automation tools and best practices in managing enterprise devices.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network layers.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Experience leading or contributing to IT projects focused on end-user computing improvements.
Pay Range: $68-$83/hr +
