Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Digital Solutions Consultant – Digital Platforms position! This is a 1 year contract opportunity and will be hybrid on site 2-3 days per week in Mississauga or Toronto. This role will be a T4 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered. 

 

Position Overview:

The Digital Solutions Consultant is a customer-facing role responsible for configuring and delivering Digital solutions including mobile applications, kiosks, POS systems, and related software platforms.


You will serve as the lead during implementations, ensuring back-end configuration, integration, and launch activities are executed accurately and efficiently.


This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the product lifecycle and the ability to translate operational requirements into seamless, end-to-end digital experiences.


What You’ll Be Doing:


This is a client-facing, consultative technical role, not a development role and not an order-taking position. This person will be expected to lead technical conversations and guide operational stakeholders.



Lead End-to-End Digital System Implementations

  • Drive the implementation of digital solutions across POS systems, kiosks, mobile applications, and vendor back-office platforms.
  • Manage projects that involve integrating internal order management systems with third-party vendors.
  • Support commercialization efforts by understanding operational processes and how new integrations impact internal teams.


Own Front-End Configuration & Execution

  • Configure and implement system solutions across front-end digital platforms (no backend development or scripting required).
  • Support feature rollouts ranging from large integration initiatives to smaller enhancements (e.g., adding dining delivery services within an in-house app).
  • Ensure systems are configured accurately to meet operational and user needs.


Manage System Integrations

  • Act as the bridge between development and operations.
  • Understand integrations between two or more systems and clearly articulate technical dependencies, constraints, and risks.
  • Lead conversations confidently with both developers and operational stakeholders (including café operators).
  • Ensure integration requirements are fully defined, documented, and executed.


Troubleshoot & Optimize Configurations

  • Identify and resolve configuration issues across digital platforms.
  • Analyze how system changes impact upstream and downstream processes.
  • Partner with technical teams to ensure successful testing, validation, and deployment.


Collaborate Cross-Functionally

  • Work closely with Product, Development, and Operations teams.
  • Contribute to commercialization discussions to ensure smooth rollout across impacted departments.
  • Utilize Jira and Confluence to manage tickets, documentation, and implementation tracking.


What You’ll Need to Have


Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in software configuration, technical consulting, implementation, or similar client-facing technical roles.
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end digital system implementations.
  • Experience working with POS systems, kiosks, mobile applications, or comparable digital platforms strongly preferred.


Technical Expertise

  • Strong understanding of the full product lifecycle: configuration, integration, testing, and launch.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting system configurations and resolving technical issues.
  • Solid understanding of system integrations and how data flows between platforms.
  • Ability to analyze system architecture, constraints, and integration dependencies quickly.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Jira
  • Confluence

  • Able to drive conversations rather than wait for direction from operational stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solver with the ability to manage both complex integration projects and smaller feature releases.
  • Comfortable operating in a cross-functional environment with multiple moving parts.


Pay Rate: $25/hr CAD
