Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Full Stack Developer (PHIP / Symfony / OroCommerce) position! This is a 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be remote in United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the development and optimization of a B2B eCommerce platform built on OroCommerce, transitioning from a legacy system to a modern, scalable solution
• Collaborate closely with the solutions architect to design and implement robust, secure, and scalable solutions within the OroCommerce framework
• Drive the transition from system integrator support to in-house development capabilities, taking ownership of ongoing platform development and enhancements
• Build and maintain custom bundles, services, and RESTful APIs within the Symfony-based OroCommerce architecture
• Design and optimize database schemas (MySQL/PostgreSQL) to ensure data integrity and high performance
• Enhance user interfaces using Twig templates, JavaScript, and CSS to deliver seamless user experiences
• Balance leveraging out-of-the-box features with strategic customization to meet specific business requirements, including module development and third-party integrations
• Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and enforce best practices to maintain high code quality and adherence to coding standards
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and QA Engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies using PHPUnit, functional testing (Symfony's Web TestCase), and integration testing (Behat) with CI/CD best practices

What You'll Need to Have:

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience with a strong focus on PHP and Symfony framework
• 3+ years of hands-on experience specifically with OroCommerce platform development
• Proven experience in B2B eCommerce environments with enterprise-level solutions
• Strong technical proficiency in PHP, Symfony, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) with solid object-oriented design skills
• Demonstrated expertise with Doctrine ORM, Twig templating, and RESTful API development
• Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows in team environments
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a track record of troubleshooting complex technical issues and implementing effective solutions
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (SAFe Agile experience is a plus)

Pay Range: $70-$75/hr
