*Charlotte, NC Contract Opportunity*
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Hardware Transition Engineer position! This is a 6+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Charlotte, NC (onsite Tues-Thurs, WFH Mon & Fri). This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing hands-on user support by troubleshooting hardware and software problems for desktop and laptop computers.
- Configuring workstations for new users and upgrading existing equipment and software.
- Setting up and maintaining network and telecommunication systems.
- Troubleshooting LAN, server, and connectivity issues.
- Utilizing the ticketing system, when necessary.
- Re-imaging computers, performing data migrations and restorations, and conducting remote problem-solving as needed.
What You'll Need to Have:
- Experience in desktop and laptop hardware support.
- Working knowledge of hardware components, hardware configurations, and strong software experience.
- Proficiency in configuring workstations and upgrading systems.
- Experience with network and telecommunication systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting LAN, server, and connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems for issue tracking and resolution.
- Experience with data migration, restoration, and remote problem-solving.
- Solid understanding of hardware components and configurations.
Pay Range: $20-$24/hr
