*Remote Contract Opportunity*
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to hire an IT Risk & Control Officer! This is a 12+ month contract role and is 100% remote. This position is open to Corp to Corp and W2 arrangements.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide input related to applicable controls
- Create control instances, monitoring plans, and other activity in Helios
- Coordinate with Global IT stakeholders
- Work with business partners for control linking and reassess overall control effectiveness and residual risk assessments
- Create detailed remediation plans for less than effective controls
- Coordinate control updates across Global IT stakeholders
- Work with 2LOD to provide required information and updates to support review of risk tolerance and risk appetite statements
- Manage Workstream deliverable owners against workstream project plan tasks
- Workstream Coordination, meeting facilitation, impediment removal, tracking and reporting
What You'll Need to Have:
- Strong background in control design, monitoring and assessing effectiveness
- Understand the expectation of delivering both globally and locally, balancing and simultaneously meeting both objectives as much as possible
- Ability to interface with Senior stakeholders
- Strong understanding and working experience with risk management practices
- Working experience to support multiple work streams and timelines
- Qualifications or prior experience in Risk Mgmt./Business Studies
- Accustomed to working with little direction, self-starter, highly organized and able to prioritize multiple concurrent work streams and challenging deadlines
Pay Range: $70-85/hr +
