Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Internal Communications Specialist position! This is a 10+ month contract opportunity and will be onsite in Buffalo, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Serve as a lead content creator for internal messaging within a banking environment, developing clear and engaging communications for emails, meetings, and marketing materials related to IT projects.
- Create polished, professional PowerPoint presentations that include data visualizations, graphics, and concise, visually compelling messaging tailored for internal audiences.
- Collaborate with business line management to plan and deliver internal communication strategies supporting change management, employee engagement, and strategic initiatives.
- Manage and update the divisional intranet site, including content planning, design, and publishing.
- Evaluate new communication channels and tools for potential implementation to improve internal communication effectiveness.
- May serve as a team lead, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders across business and technology teams.
What You’ll Need to Have:
- 5+ years of experience in communications or marketing roles.
- Hands-on experience in internal messaging content creation.
- Strong writing skills, able to translate technical jargon to a non-technical audience.
- Strong visual communication skills, including PowerPoint, to create professional, clear, concise content using graphs, images, and other creative means to communicate data.
- Autonomous, self-driven project member who collaborates well.
- Prior experience in a similar communications specialist or content development role is strongly preferred.
Pay Range:Â $35-$45+/hr
