*Remote Contract-to-Hire Opportunity*
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Lead Application Developer role! This is a 3-4 month contract-to-hire opportunity and can be remote in the United States.
Position Overview
This highly critical, growing team is responsible for systems that manage extremely complex financial calculations and postings each month. These high-performance systems work with very large datasets and within very tight processing time constraints. This team manages a mixture of web applications as well as back-end batch processes.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Work with business owners and users to document their requirements
- Assist with architecting the overall solution
- Creating functional and technical documentation as needed
- Designing and developing the individual components
- Perform unit testing, and participate in cyclic QA testing and bugfix
- Perform ongoing Production support of the entire suite of applications, including occasional investigation and timely resolution of Production incidents both during and outside of business hours
- Mentor and lead team members
- On-call responsibility for critical issues
What You'll Need to Have:
- 5 years of experience in software development
- Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle databases, T-SQL and/or PL/SQL
- Experience in the .NET stack: ASP.NET WebForms, MVC, and Angular (C# preferred)
- Experience with financial and accounting systems a plus
- Experience with supply chain management a plus
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and innovative problem-solving skills
Pay Range: $50-70/hr +
