Lighthouse Technology Services has an immediate need for Level 2 Network Operator / Support Desk resources for a contract to hire role in Buffalo, NY.  

Responsibilities Include:

  • Monitoring system alerts, and respond according to SOP's; and escalate alerts for all Data Center, remote systems and network incidents.
  • Processing batch jobs, file transfers, and monitoring for the successful completion of daily scheduled processing requirements.
  • Ensures incident tickets are recorded, escalated and updated in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and operate Data Center Computer Systems in a 7 x 24 Global Data Center and peripheral equipment such as system printers in our Airborne office building.
  • Contribute to and prepare shift reports and conduct turnover between shifts as well as reviewing scheduled system change requests to ensure smooth transition between shifts.
  • Responsible for the operation and maintainence of system printers to ensure timely availability of reports, A/P Checks, Invoices, etc. to meet business Requirements in accordance with SOP's due to the highly confidential and sensitive nature of the material.

Requirements Include:

  • NO LESS THAN 2 Years of IT related WORK experience
  • 1 position for First Shift Mon - Fri 7am - 3:30pm with flexibility to cover 24x7/365
  • 1 position for Second Shift Tues - Sat 3pm - 11pm 24x7/365
  • Ability to accurately document an issue within incident management tool
  • Ability to communicate and escalate issues to subject matter experts or management team
  • Ability to work with multiple teams as well as independently
  • Experience with Office 365 tools:Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint
