Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Power Platform + AI Developer position! This is a 12+ month contract-to-hire opportunity based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is open to local and remote candidates. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.


Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer with proven experience leveraging Microsoft Power Platforms & AI capabilities to design, build, and optimize business applications and automation. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with an innovative mindset, using tools like Power Apps, Power Automate, AI Builder, Copilot, Azure AI Foundry and Azure AI integration to deliver intelligent, low-code solutions that drive measurable value.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Design and develop business applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Implement AI Builder models for document processing, sentiment analysis, classification, and prediction.
  • Use Copilot to accelerate app and workflow creation through natural language prompts.
  • Integrate Azure AI Services (OpenAI, Cognitive Services) into Power Platform solutions.
  • Develop intelligent workflows in Power Automate, leveraging AI-based decision-making and data extraction.
  • Enable semantic search, intelligent categorization, and relationship suggestions in Dataverse.
  • Create natural language-enabled user experiences using Copilot-driven chat and forms.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify and implement AI-driven process automation solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories and technical specifications.
  • Deliver documentation and training to ensure adoption of developed solutions.
  • Optimize performance, scalability, and maintain governance, security, and compliance standards.
  • Stay updated on Power Platform AI capabilities and Microsoft roadmap developments.


What You'll Need to Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
  • Experience with AI Builder (text analytics, document processing, prediction).
  • Use of Copilot for app/flow creation.
  • Strong low-code development skills and data modeling proficiency.
  • Experience with connectors like SharePoint, SQL, Dynamics 365.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience integrating Azure AI Services into Power Platform.
  • Knowledge of Copilot Studio for building AI conversational bots.
  • Familiarity with DAX, Power Query (M), and advanced Power BI analytics.
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications.


Pay Range: $60-$68+/hr
