Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their mid level Power Platform Developer position! This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire and will be hybrid in Mississauga, Ontario with 3 days on-site. This role will be a T4 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design and build enterprise-grade business applications using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio, and Dataverse to solve complex business challenges
• Develop REST APIs and backend services using C# / .NET to extend Power Platform capabilities through custom connectors and Azure integrations
• Architect and implement data models across Dataverse, SQL Server, and enterprise systems while ensuring data consistency and optimizing queries and data pipelines
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions, contributing to architectural decisions on when to leverage low-code versus pro-code approaches
• Apply environment strategy, governance, and ALM practices to support scalable enterprise deployments while building reusable components and promoting standardization
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including planning, standups, demos, and retrospectives to deliver solutions in a fast-paced development environment
• Provide Level 2/3 production support for Power Platform applications, addressing issues and ensuring system reliability
• Drive continuous improvement through documentation, knowledge transfer, and adherence to testing best practices

What You'll Need to Have:

• 3+ years of experience developing enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio, and Dataverse)
• Proven experience with C# / .NET for building integrations, APIs, and implementing complex business logic beyond low-code capabilities
• Strong proficiency in data modeling concepts, SQL, and working with relational databases in enterprise environments
• Demonstrated ability to integrate systems using APIs, custom connectors, and cloud services (Azure or AWS)
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in iterative development environments
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance user experience requirements against technical and platform constraints
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Pay Range: $25-$30/hr CAD
