*Hybrid Contract Opportunity*

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Product Owner I position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Work directly with assigned Agile/tech team to plan, prioritize, and deliver cloud data infrastructure, secure file transfer, and related work in support of a new vendor cloud-hosted SaaS implementation.
• Interface with stakeholders for requirements gathering.
• Build and own the product vision and roadmap that aligns with strategic intent; communicate these to the team and stakeholders.
• Prioritize the backlog in line with the product vision and strategy.
• Act as the voice of the customer within the team; make thoughtful, autonomous decisions to support delivery.
• Write user stories and groom the backlog; define acceptance criteria to support ATDD (Acceptance Test-Driven Development).
• Collaborate closely with the delivery team to provide communication tools and information radiators.
• Engage in all Agile team ceremonies and activities.
• Use a matrixed influencing approach across business partners regardless of hierarchy or division.
• Understand customer needs and advocate for outcomes over outputs.
• Leverage design thinking and analytics to inform product design decisions.
• Work cross-functionally with other Product Owners to ensure alignment across the customer journey.
• Ensure adherence to risk, regulatory, and control standards as defined by the company.

What You'll Need to Have:

• Experience with Agile delivery (Scrum preferred) in a Product Owner role.
• Experience with vendor cloud-hosted SaaS and cloud data environments (Azure preferred).
• Commercial banking experience (lending, servicing, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of business, analytical, technical, and/or product experience, OR, in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 8 years of higher education and/or relevant work experience, including 4+ years in business, analytical, technical, and/or product roles.
• Preferred: experience prioritizing in dynamic environments, independent decision-making, understanding of Design Thinking principles, Agile/Lean practices, and collaboration with UX teams.

Pay Range: $48-$55+/hr
