Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Program / Project Manager position! This is a 12+ month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be remote in the United States (ET hours). This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
Position Overview
The Program / Project Manager will serve as a senior enterprise delivery leader, acting as a strategic partner to business and product leadership. This role is responsible for orchestrating delivery across multiple systems and highly matrixed teams, navigating regulatory-driven complexity, and driving execution with rigor, clarity, and influence. The ideal candidate is proactive, outcome-oriented, and comfortable operating in ambiguity while maintaining strong delivery discipline.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Strategic Program Leadership
- Partner closely with business and product leadership to shape future-state delivery plans emerging from discovery and gap analysis
- Sequence system enhancements across near-term compliance needs and long-term architectural goals
- Actively manage cross-workstream dependencies across program verticals
- Identify scope, timing, and resourcing tradeoffs and proactively bring forward recommendations
Cross-Team & Stakeholder Orchestration
- Coordinate work across a highly matrixed enterprise environment, including multiple technology, data, and business teams
- Drive alignment between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring shared understanding of constraints, decisions, and impacts
- Facilitate decision-making forums and escalate when alignment stalls
Delivery & Execution Excellence
- Own integrated delivery plans, including milestones, timelines, critical paths, and dependencies
- Maintain risk, issue, and decision logs across systems and teams
- Provide clear status reporting and lead action-oriented meetings
- Clearly articulate blockers, risks, and resolution paths
- Adapt plans as discovery evolves while maintaining delivery commitments
Risk & Blocker Management
- Anticipate and manage risks related to data readiness, system capability gaps, regulatory interpretation changes, and competing enterprise priorities
- Actively work with owners to remove blockers
- Escalate risks with appropriate context, options, and recommendations
What You’ll Need to Have:
Program & Project Management Expertise
- Proven experience leading large, cross-functional enterprise programs, ideally involving:
- Multiple technology platforms
- Data-intensive workflows
- Regulatory or compliance-driven delivery
- Strong command of program management fundamentals (integrated planning, dependency management, executive-level status reporting, risk and issue mitigation)
Systems & Data Fluency
- Comfortable operating in complex systems landscapes, even if not deeply technical.
- Ability to:
- Understand system boundaries, integrations, and data flows
- Translate architectural concepts into delivery implications
- Ask the right questions of product managers, architects and engineers
- Experience working alongside product managers and technical leads as peers.
Stakeholder & Influence Skills
- Strong executive communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, align senior leaders with differing priorities, and navigate ambiguity and competing incentives
- Able to clearly frame risks, tradeoffs, and decisions needed
Pay Range:Â $75-$80+/hr
