*Hybrid Contract Opportunity*
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Windows 11 Upgrade Project Manager position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You'll Be Doing:
- You will be a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the smooth transition of employees from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
- Take ownership of an established project plan, ensuring its successful execution while managing schedules, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining open communication with employees.
- Familiarize yourself with the established project plan and schedule for the Windows 11 upgrade.
- Maintain and take ownership of the project schedule, ensuring all milestones are met and any updates are communicated effectively.
- Coordinate with IT teams, business line employees, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with the project plan and minimize disruptions.
- Maintain and deliver communications to inform employees of their upgrade timeline, process, and requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding the upgrade.
- Monitor and manage any technical or scheduling issues, escalating them as needed.
- Ensure any post-upgrade concerns from employees are documented and addressed.
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and management.
- Maintain detailed documentation of the upgrade process for future reference and audits.
What You'll Need to Have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
- Experience with Windows operating systems upgrades, including Windows 10 and 11.
- Basic understanding of endpoint management and deployment tools (e.g., Intune, SCCM).
- Proven ability to manage complex schedules and multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience in change management or transitioning large user bases through upgrades.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for employee-facing communications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills to navigate employee feedback and foster collaboration.
Pay Range: $37-$52/hr +
