Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Lead QA Analyst position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Act as the functional lead for high-impact banking projects spanning core loan servicing systems and financial applications.
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements related to banking operations, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Design and execute detailed SIT and UAT test plans to ensure systems meet regulatory and operational standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across technology, compliance, risk, and operations to align solutions with bank-wide initiatives.
- Participate in system design sessions and ensure regulatory, audit, and data security needs are considered in all functional specifications.
- Analyze data and application behavior to support enterprise-level system conversions, regulatory implementations, and M&A activity.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on banking systems, ensuring requirements reflect regulatory changes and customer impact.
- Provide support during post-implementation review, issue triage, and resolution, ensuring banking systems perform to expectations.
What You’ll Need to Have:
- Experience coordinating SIT and UAT for banking or loan servicing systems
- Proven ability to write business requirements and test scripts/cases
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Minimum 6 years of combined business analysis or analytics experience, ideally in a financial institution
- Deep understanding of banking processes, regulatory considerations, and operational workflows
- Strong documentation skills using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, Excel, and Visio
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments in a financial services organization
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with risk & compliance frameworks and regulatory change management
- Previous experience with system integrations, legacy banking systems, or core banking software
- Exposure to SQL, data mapping, and system migrations within banking contexts
Pay Range:Â $40-$46/hr
