*Remote Contract Opportunity*



Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their React Native Engineer position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and can be remote in the United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
  • Apply strong mobile design principles, architecture patterns, and best practices.
  • Interpret business requirements and collaborate with business users to obtain clarifications.
  • Produce clear and concise communications and technical documentation.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with vendor and contractor partners.


What You'll Need to Have:

  • Strong proficiency in React Native for cross-platform mobile development.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript and React.
  • Experience with common React Native libraries (e.g., react-navigation, Zustand).
  • Understanding of mobile app architecture including components, navigation, and state management.
  • Strong grasp of UI/UX design principles for building user-friendly interfaces.
  • Commitment to accessibility and usability in software development.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs for backend communication.
  • Familiarity with state management tools such as Zustand.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, Detox, Cypress, or Appium.
  • Experience building apps for both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or GitLab.


Pay Range: $65-$80+/hr
