*Hybrid Contract Opportunity*
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Salesforce Software Engineer position! This is a 6+ month contract opportunity based in Buffalo, NY. Qualified remote candidates will be considered. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Complete and oversee basic to complex systems analysis, design, and development.
- Play a key role as an individual contributor on complex projects.
- Maintain a strong functional understanding of supported applications.
- Direct and monitor less experienced resources; coordinate development tasks on small to large projects.
- Prepare and manage technical components of project plans.
- Participate in system development processes from technical analysis to user acceptance testing.
- Execute detailed test plans and perform debugging as needed.
- Evaluate complex system interrelationships and provide consulting for technology solutions.
- Prepare thorough technical and functional specifications and systems documentation.
- Prepare project assessments, including tasks, time frames, and effort estimates.
- Recommend new technology or processes for improvements.
- Lead or participate in evaluations of vendor software.
- Complete other related duties or lead due diligence, cost/benefit, or business study projects.
What You'll Need to Have:
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree and 5 years of systems analysis/application development experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years education and/or work experience, including 5+ years in systems analysis/application development.
- Hands-on experience with the following:
- Salesforce Admin tools (Fields, Approval Processes, Layouts, etc.)
- Salesforce Development (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Triggers)
- Object-Oriented Programming principles
- Functional and technical solution design and presentation
- Writing unit tests and committing code using Git
- Visual Studio Code (VS Code)
- GitLab
- Jira and Confluence
- Agile / Scrum methodologies
Desired, Not Required:
- Experience with the nCino application
- Background in banking or financial services
- Salesforce Certifications
Pay Range:Â $55-$70/hr +
