Job Description

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Scrum Master II position! This is a 12+ month contract and will be hybrid in Wilmington, DE, on-site 3-4 days/week. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide servant-leadership and mentorship to multiple cross-functional agile teams using Agile principles and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP).
  • Utilize a broad knowledge base of agile practices including user stories, retrospectives, story mapping, Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), continuous integration, pairing, information radiators, etc., to help create high performing teams.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Address team impediments and blockers, collaborating with other teams as needed.
  • Curate and deliver Agile coaching content; host learning opportunities like communities of practice and training.
  • Mentor less experienced Scrum Masters and Agile practitioners.
  • Ensure compliance with risk and regulatory standards, and maintain strong internal controls.


What You'll Need to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of experience in an Agile team, including a minimum of 2 years as a Scrum Master.
  • OR in lieu of degree: minimum 8 years combined education/work experience with 4 years in Agile teams and 2 years Scrum Master.
  • Experience coaching and mentor team members in Agile principles and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile practices: user stories, TDD, ATDD, retrospectives, continuous integration, etc.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience in two or more roles within technology teams (e.g., PM, UX, BA, Dev, QA).
  • Knowledge of Lean principles, Design Thinking, and developing digital capabilities.
  • Experience fostering team self-organization and continuous improvement.


Pay Range: $50-$65+/hr
