*Hybrid Contract Opportunity*
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Scrum Master position! This is a 6+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide servant-leadership and mentorship to multiple cross-functional agile teams using Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
- Educate and coach teams to foster self-organization, cross-functionality, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement through retrospectives, transparency, and collaboration.
- Curate and maintain agile coaching content for team guidance.
- Facilitate key Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, reviews, backlog refinement, and more.
- Help teams visualize and communicate progress through information radiators.
- Proactively remove blockers outside the team's control to maintain focus on goals.
- Collaborate with Agile Leaders to enhance organizational Agile practices.
- Mentor junior Scrum Masters and guide agile maturity efforts.
- Promote team and individual development through learning opportunities such as meetups, conferences, and training.
- Adhere to company risk and regulatory standards and escalate issues as necessary.
What You'll Need to Have:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years experience as a member of an Agile team, including 2+ years as a Scrum Master,
- OR In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of combined higher education and/or relevant work experience, including 4 years on Agile teams and 2+ years as a Scrum Master.
- Strong knowledge of Agile practices including user stories, ATDD, TDD, pairing, CI/CD, and story mapping.
- Experience in a Scaled Agile environment (SAFe).
- Familiarity with the banking industry.
- Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira and Power BI.
- Ability to influence in a team-driven Agile setting.
Pay Range: $50-$63/hr +
