*Hybrid Contract Opportunity*
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Scrum Master II position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead and mentor multiple agile teams using Scrum, Kanban, and XP methodologies.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Help teams improve transparency and radiate progress through visual tools.
- Coach team members on agile best practices, self-organization, and continuous improvement.
- Remove impediments and address issues outside team authority.
- Collaborate with other Agile Leaders to strengthen agile adoption across the organization.
- Provide mentorship to less experienced Scrum Masters.
- Encourage continuous learning through training, meetups, reading, and communities of practice.
- Support the design and implementation of risk mitigation controls in line with corporate standards and policies.
What You'll Need to Have:
- Scrum Master certification.
- Infrastructure experience.
- Ability to manage multiple teams simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years experience on an agile team, including at least 2 years as a Scrum Master, OR 8+ years combined education and experience, including 2+ years as a Scrum Master.
- Demonstrated success fostering team self-organization and continuous improvement.
- Solid understanding of Agile and Lean principles and practices.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience in multiple technical roles (e.g., developer, tester, UX, BA).
- Familiarity with Design Thinking.
- Background in developing/managing digital capabilities.
Pay Range: $48-$58+/hr
