*Hybrid Contract Opportunity*
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Scrum Master II position! This is a 6+ month contract opportunity with potential extensions and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Serve as a servant-leader and mentor to multiple cross-functional Agile teams using Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
- Foster a continuous improvement culture and help teams self-organize and collaborate effectively.
- Facilitate key Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Remove impediments to team progress and work with stakeholders to resolve blockers.
- Visualize and radiate team information using appropriate tools and practices.
- Coach teams on Agile values, principles, and practices to support high performance and transparency.
- Collaborate with other Agile Leaders to improve Agile maturity across the organization.
- Provide mentorship to less experienced Scrum Masters.
- Promote individual and team learning via communities of practice, meetups, and training opportunities.
What You'll Need to Have:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years on an Agile team, with at least 2+ years as a Scrum Master.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master, leading Agile teams with SAFe or general Agile frameworks.
- Strong time management and facilitation skills.
- Ability to remove impediments and lead through influence.
- Knowledge of Agile practices such as user stories, retrospectives, TDD, ATDD, continuous integration, and information radiators.
- Experience developing or managing digital capabilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with Design Thinking.
- Background in multiple tech roles preferred (PM, UX, BA, Dev, QA).
Pay Range: $50-$65/hr
