Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior Java 7+ / J2EE Developer role! This is a 12 month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be hybrid in Charlotte.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Design and develop reusable Microservices, REST API’s and always thinking about security, performance and scalability.
- Design and develop data ingestion services to collate and aggregate data from disparate sources
- Take pride in writing robust, well-structured, well commented, maintainable, unit tested code.
- Work as part of a team in a collaborative environment
What You'll Need to Have:
- 6+ years of software development with bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Deep knowledge and experience of core Java 7 (or higher) and J2EE
- Strong experience of Spring framework including - Spring MVC, Spring batch, Spring Boot, Spring Data
- Experience with Java Script, JS Frameworks - Ext JS (preferable) or Angular
- Experience with SQL / Spring / Hibernate / REST / HTTP / MAVEN
- Experience with relational databases preferably IBM DB2
- A strong desire to learn new technologies and adapt
- Strong verbal, written communication, and analytical, problem-solving skills
- Agile methodology project experience preferred, including experience estimating development project timelines
- AWS Experience & Certifications nice to have
- BPMN Frameworks – ACTVIITI etc. experience nice to have
Pay Range: $55-$58/hr
