*Hybrid Contract-to-Hire Opportunity*
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior Project Manager position! This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be hybrid in downtown Buffalo, NY.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead and direct high-priority or complex projects impacting three or more business or functional areas.
- Drive projects from initiation to close with strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional coordination.
- Develop detailed Project Plans including work breakdown structures, budgets, schedules, risk management, and resource allocation.
- Gather and document project requirements, constraints, and assumptions using techniques such as planning sessions, brainstorming, and focus groups.
- Ensure effective communication of project scope, plans, and expectations to stakeholders and team members.
- Manage execution of all phases of the project plan, including change controls and budget/forecast management.
- Monitor project performance, identify and resolve variances, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead and mentor project team members to improve cohesiveness, morale, and performance.
- Ensure compliance with organizational risk standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
What You'll Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of proven project management experience
- — OR — A combined minimum of 6 years of higher education and/or work experience including at least 4 years of project management experience.
- Strong understanding of both traditional (Waterfall) and Agile project management methodologies.
- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
- Leadership or mentoring experience on project teams.
- Certifications in project management (PMP, Scrum Master, etc.) are a plus.
- Cybersecurity experience is a plus.
- Must be on site in Buffalo at least 3 days per week (typically Tuesday to Thursday).
Pay Range:Â $50-$55/hr
