*Hybrid Contract Opportunity*
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior Security Solutions Engineer position! This is a 12+ month contract and will be hybrid in Wilmington, DE. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing Encryption Engineering expertise, PKI Support, Automation and API Integration.
- Serve as an advanced technologist for a specific technology or set of technologies.
- Collaborate regularly with Technology management, senior Engineers, and support teams to design, develop, and execute technical solutions that align with current and future organizational needs.
- Participate in infrastructure review, implementation, and design; create documentation, standards, and policies; perform analysis and testing.
- Interact independently with business partners across different levels to clarify problems/opportunities and gather business requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and manage vendor resources as needed.
- Mentor and review the work of less experienced engineers, technicians, and integrators.
- Continuously expand knowledge of Financial Services industry trends, practices, and technologies.
- Promote industry best practices, standards, and procedures.
- Maintain strong knowledge of Bank applications, systems, and vendor technologies.
- Ensure adherence to risk and regulatory standards, escalating issues where necessary.
- Implement audit and regulatory recommendations as needed.
What You'll Need to Have:
- Expertise with Encryption Engineering, PKI Support, Automation and API Integration.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in infrastructure design, data management, system design, or complex application development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Ability to translate complex business and functional requirements into structured, high-quality technical implementations.
- Advanced skills in analytics, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
- Expertise in server/client and virtual technologies.
- Strong written, verbal, and facilitation communication skills.
- Familiarity with system interactions and cross-system services.
Pay Range: $68-$78/hr +
