Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their ServiceNow Platform Engineer position! This is a 7+ month contract opportunity and is hybrid in Buffalo, NY, with the potential to convert to direct hire. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services during the contract.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide design, specification, and high-level technical direction for application development.
- Serve as a principal application designer for critical components and major modifications.
- Lead complex systems analysis, design, and development efforts.
- Guide and monitor less experienced developers, manage development tasks, and create technical project plans.
- Prepare and review detailed test plans and data, execute debugging and issue resolution.
- Analyze complex interrelationships and document clear technical specifications.
- Evaluate system impacts, participate in project assessments, and monitor performance.
- Recommend new technologies and lead evaluations of vendor software.
- Maintain expert knowledge of application environments and support efficient operation.
- Assist with expense and capital budget development.
- Ensure compliance with risk, regulatory, and internal control standards.
What You'll Need to Have:
- High familiarity with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, IRE, Service Mapping, Data Certification, etc.
- Strong ServiceNow Architecture capabilities across HAM, SAM, EA, and CSDM portfolios.
- Strong Software Engineering background with the ability to quickly adapt to new frameworks.
- Associate’s degree with 6+ years of systems analysis/application development experience OR 8+ years combined education and experience with at least 6 in analysis/development.
- Proficiency in development software, project tools, and computing environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
- Experience leading technical teams, managing projects, and driving milestone delivery.
- Experience in business-technology coordination and mentoring team members.
- Mastery of application frameworks, integration, and interfacing systems.
- Familiarity with the banking or financial industry is a plus.
Pay Range: $68-$83+/hr
