Lighthouse Technology Services is seeking a Technical Support Specialist for a Direct Hire role in Buffalo, NY.

Requirements Include:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an IT systems administrator/analyst or related IT position.
  • Degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent
  • This is a HIGHLY technical position that requires a variety of unique skills
  • HIGHLY Preferred Skills:  Medical Imaging
  • Excellent Computer Skills including the ability to install, program, maintain and repair servers, storage devices and other software/hardware.
  • Strong Knowledge of networking protocols TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP Port Forwarding, DMZ, and wireless networking protocols
  • Knowledge of server and systems security
  • Tech Support/Help Desk - Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Coding skills (php/html(5)/java)
  • Excellent communication skills which enhance customer relationships and ensure repeat business.

Preferred Skills Include:

  • Medical/PACS Systems – Understanding of DICOM
  • Experience with NextGen Connect (formerly Mirth Connect) for the electronic exchange of health information.
  • Experience in Vulnerability and Penetration Testing Methods.
  • Ability to work with outside contracted programmers who have been given coding projects to enhance existing products or the development of new products for the company. This ability would help support the CEO in the review and testing of the programmer’s work.
