Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Tosca Automation Enterprise Quality Engineer position! This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire and will be hybrid on site Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in Toronto, Canada. This role will be a T4 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered. 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a senior-level QA professional who brings deep Tosca automation expertise along with strong manual testing fundamentals and data validation skills. They are detail-oriented, metrics-driven, and capable of owning regression strategy while partnering closely with Agile teams to ensure high-quality, enterprise-ready releases.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide strong hands-on expertise in Tricentis Tosca automation and comprehensive manual testing
• Design and execute enterprise-level test strategies across UI, APIs, integrations, and complex data environments while serving as a key quality partner within Agile delivery teams
• Design, create, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases aligned to user stories and acceptance criteria
• Develop, enhance, and optimize Tosca automation frameworks, reusable modules, and regression suites
• Execute functional, regression, API, database, and performance testing
• Own regression strategy, scope, and coverage for assigned applications
• Validate backend services, integrations, and complex end-to-end data flows
• Manage test planning, execution, traceability, and reporting using qTest
• Log, triage, retest, and validate defects within Azure DevOps
• Provide test estimates, risk assessments, and release-readiness recommendations
• Serve as a QA point of contact within Agile teams and actively participate in Agile ceremonies
• Deliver clear and actionable quality metrics, execution dashboards, and status reporting

What You’ll Need to Have:

• 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance with strong emphasis on automation testing
• Deep hands-on expertise with Tricentis Tosca automation with a background in Playwright.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for defect tracking and lifecycle management
• Experience leveraging qTest for test management and reporting
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC, and QA governance best practices
• Solid SQL skills for complex data validation and backend verification
• Working knowledge of performance testing execution and analysis
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Tosca certifications
• ISTQB certification
• Extensive experience testing REST APIs, backend systems, and service-layer integrations
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale or multi-application ecosystems

Pay Range: $45-$50/hr CAD
